This article high lights the concept of the cluster and the advantages of the cluster approach, as well as in order to increase the competitiveness of the regional economy, it is necessary to determine an effective model of the regional economy that allows the maximum use of the existing potential. Cluster policy is one of the most common mechanisms for the implementation of state and regional economic policy. The main goal of implementing the cluster policy is to ensure high rates of economic growth and diversification of the economy by increasing the competitiveness of enterprises, suppliers of equipment, components, specialized production and services, research and educational organizations that form economic clusters in the regions.
