The article deals with theoretical issues of the development of conflicts in the organization. Various concepts, classification and causes of the origin and directions of smoothing conflict situations are given. The purpose of this study is to attempt to generalize theoretical approaches to the study of conflicts, to generalize the concepts presented in different scientific directions, to classify forms, types, types of conflicts according to the causes of occurrence, coverage, involvement of team members, degree of flow and phase of development. The conflict from the standpoint of human resource management of an organization is a social phenomenon that occurs in every work collective. The prosperity of every organization is not an easy phenomenon, which happens depending on the emergence, formation and resolution of real differences. To effectively manage an organization, every leader must be able to manage and prevent conflict situations
