This article discusses the problems of development and directions of development of recreational tourism in the Talas region. The level of development of the tourism industry of the Kyrgyz Republic and Talas region and its importance for the development of the country's economy in recent years are analyzed, regional features of the tourism industry are identified, factors affecting the development of the tourism industry of the region are identified. Each region of Kyrgyzstan is distinguished by its diverse and attractive potential for the development of various types of tourism. At the same time, the region we are considering stands out for its originality, beauty, waters, monuments of cultural architecture, natural nature. Currently, all over the world and in all regions of Kyrgyzstan, the recreational network is considered not only in some areas of activity, but is also aimed at improving people's health, and also makes a direct contribution to the development of the region.
