FOLKLORE MOTIVES IN THE OF WRITER YASHAR KEMAL

The object representation of a work of art is rich and varied. It well known that the purpose of works of art is to reveal the nature of man, his life and social place. The complexity and uniqueness of a work of art, which distinguishes it from other types of art, lies in the fact that any work reveals the author’s intention, and thereby conveys it to the reader’s consciousness. Creative individuals can accomplish this task in any way in a work of art. One of them is a reference to folklore. Yashar Kemal, one of the most prominent figures in Turkish literature, is considered as a «folklorist writer» in Turkish literature. The article discusses folklore that influenced the formation and development of the writer’s work, as well as folklore motifs in novels and stories
