REGIONAL FEATURES OF POVERTY IN THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC

The article presents an assessment of the level of poverty of the population in the region, considers the differences in the level of poverty, both between regions and within regions, analyzes various approaches to measuring socio-economic inequality.The characteristics of the regions of the country in terms of the scale and depth of poverty are presented, the main causes and problems of their development are indicated. Particular attention was paid to the socio-economic situation and development prospects of the most problematic areas in terms of poverty. At present, poverty and excessive social inequality of the population are dangerous factors and a real threat to social stability, causing the relevance of the research topic. Solving poverty problems in Kyrgyzstan is one of the priority tasks. The state policy on social protection is material for disabled citizens and the socially vulnerable population aimed at providing support.
The article is based on official statistics, and the main task is to highlight the regional differentiation of poverty in the analysis of the current state of poverty in Kyrgyzstan
