Features of a person's perception of time are reflected in the language, participating in the formation of a picture of the world of speakers of a particular language as a whole. Temporal relations in Russian can be manifested with the help of various linguistic means. This article is devoted to the consideration of phrases with temporal relations in the Russian language, the main component of which is expressed by a verb, and the dependent - by an adverb, as well as the consideration of various models of verb phrases. As the main grammatical means, the species-temporal forms of verbs were singled out. The main lexical means include nouns, verbs and adverbs with temporary meanings
