TO THE QUESTION OF THE PURITY OF SPEECH (DYSPHEMISMS)

The paper examines the role of dysphemisms in the medical environment, defines the term, as well as their application in the oral speech of medical students in various situations. Dysphe- misms are crude slang speech, but in medical practice (between colleagues) it performs a posi- tive function. This is a conscious coarsening of speech and they replace natural names. Dysphe- misms are often used in modern television programs, films, articles, newspapers, broadcasting negative expression and aggressiveness. And in the speech of medical staff, dysphemisms are used for emotional and physical overload. The same aggressiveness is shown by many people who respond in this way to humiliating treatment with them
