LEXICOGRAPHICAL MODELING OF THE ESTIMATED VALUE (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE LEXEME "TYPICAL")

The article attempts to create a semantic model of the evaluative adjective TYPICAL based on the data of dictionaries. After describing the main properties of the models, a theoretical sub- stantiation of criteria-type assessments is given, and the features of lexicographic information for linguistic research are noted. Based on explanatory academic dictionaries of the Russian language, an analysis of the meanings of the adjective under study is proposed for the further construction of a semantic model, taking into account the criteria-evaluative meaning expressed by it. The adjective TYPICAL, used in an existential-evaluative meaning, can indicate both es- sential, permanent signs, and signs that distinguish an object from similar ones
