ON THE "RIGHT FLANGE" OF MODERN RUSSIAN PROSE

In modern Russian literature, the classic situation of division persists: Slavophiles and West- ernizers, conservatives and liberals, supporters of the national idea and postmodernists. The article is devoted to the "right flank" of Russian literature of the 21st century. Its main features are determined: the Russian world as a key plot, epic conflict, nationality, philosophy of history and journalism, apology for the Soviet idea, social tragedy, rejection of fiction, language games and laughter culture. The author's worlds of three writers are considered in more detail: Alex- ander Prokhanov, Andrey Antipin, Zakhar Prilepin. Within the broad boundaries of patriotic literature, Prokhanov creates a modern form of the heroic epic, Antipin - the Russian tragedy of our days, Prilepin seeks to solve worldview problems in the genre of a psychological novel
