THE LOVE THEME IN THE WORKS OF I. A. BUNIN AND S. ZWEIG

This article identifies and examines the forms and ways of depicting various types of love in the works of I. A. Bunin and S. Zweig. Special attention is paid to the novella’s genre, in which both authors worked with the same skill. The chosen genre determined the specifics of the plot moves, as a result of which I. A. Bunin and S. Zweig had the opportunity to set up a kind of psy- chological experiment, during which the behavior of the characters placed in certain conditions will be observed.
