This article highlights some problems related to the concept of cluster and the application of cluster management, and also shows the formation of cluster development in the Chui region of the Kyrgyz Republic.Clusters are an effective means of developing territories. The geographical range of a cluster may differ from a city or region, or even from neighboring countries. To date, in the Chui region, it is enough to understand the cluster, to teach the right economic entities of sustainable specialized competition, to work on the basis of a cluster approach on the production and processing of products. The article discussed the potential of the Chui region based on the cluster approach. During the formation of the cluster, the mechanisms and main directions of state use necessary for the regions were proposed.The cluster potential of the industrial and agricultural sectors of the Chui region is also shown
