The modern model of economic cooperation between the two countries is characterized by certain disproportions and imbalances in the development of trade, investment relations, interaction in the fuel and energy sector, etc. Thus, from the first days of independence and the beginning of trade relations in the export and import system, there was a negative balance for the Kyrgyz Republic, which is currently about 16% of bilateral foreign trade turnover. This fully applies to the study of Kyrgyz-Chinese economic relations, in the formation of which both rapid ups and downs were observed, caused not only by objective factors and prerequisites, but also by political and geo- economic contradictions. In this regard, the study of the formation of international cooperation, not only on a multilateral basis, but also in a bilateral format, is becoming increasingly relevant
