TERMS REFLECTED IN THE TRADITIONAL GAMES OF THE ALTAI PEOPLES

The article examines the names of games in the Korean language and Turkic languages of the Altai language group within the framework of linguoculture, aiming to study the position of the Korean language among Altai languages based on scholarly research. The study aimed to identify whether there are terms related to the traditional games of Altai-speaking peoples and to explore the connections between Turkic languages and Korean. The article analyzed the content of the games, the linguistic means used in them, and the main instruments involved. By drawing on the works of scholars who have made significant contributions to the theory of Altai languages, meaningful results can be achieved, especially when cultural aspects are also considered. Therefore, the issue should be approached not only from a linguistic but also from a cultural perspective
