ON THE FUNDAMENTAL CONDITIONS OF CULTURE

This study explored how interpersonal relationships, awareness, and self-esteem contribute to tolerance formation. Lotman's semiosphere concept provides a foundation for understanding the interconnection of sociocultural phenomena. The interpenetration of information systems and their transformation into cultural dialogue is analyzed. The mechanisms for distinguishing "one's own" from "foreign" while maintaining the external structure are revealed. Special atten- tion is paid to dialogue culture formation in modern education. It emphasizes the importance of tolerance for cultural development amid globalization. Views on spiritual renewal through tra- dition and modernization are presented. This shows the importance of teachers’ communicative competencies in forming a culture of tolerance
