The article is devoted to the issues of pedagogical support in the distance education system. 
In the context of the rapid development of digital technologies and the transition of educational institutions to online formats, the importance of well-structured student support is increasing. The work considers the key components of effective distance learning: designing a course, using interactive tools, creating a supportive educational environment, developing digital literacy and developing self-regulation skills in students. Particular attention is paid to the role of the tutor, as well as strategic approaches to motivating and engaging students. The author emphasizes that successful distance learning is possible only with systematic, flexible and adaptive pedagogical support that takes into account the individual needs of students. The findings may be useful for teachers, administrators of educational programs and researchers in the field of pedagogy and digital education
