THE ROLE OF THE SOCIAL NETWORK IN EMERGENCE AND DISTRIBUTION OF NEW EXPRESSIONS AND SLANGS

In the modern world, when competition in the labor market is high, a specialist must demonstrate excellent speech proficiency and versatile linguistic competencies. Since the main audience of social networks is young people, Internet slang has a significant impact on speech culture and language in general. The emergence of Internet slang has given rise to a number of problems that require solutions. The purpose of this work is to determine the motives for using online communication, as well as to study the methods of forming slang expressions. The author conducted a sociological survey, which allowed identifying both positive and negative aspects of using Internet slang, as well as suggesting strategies to counteract its negative impact. In the course of the work, the methods of comparison, analysis of online resources, generalization and a sociological survey were used
