Russian Language in Digital Communication in Kazakhstan: Features of Online Discourse
A.M. Nurbaeva, M.A. KazibekovaThe article is devoted to the study of the functioning of the Russian language in the digital communication of Kazakhstan. The analysis is based on materials drawn from social networks, messengers, and online media. The study examines phenomena such as code-switching, neologization, borrowing of Anglicisms, visualization of text, and the reduction of normative standards in written discourse. The results demonstrate that the Russian language in the digital environment preserves its integrative function and remains the primary language of interethnic communication, while at the same time showing adaptability, openness to innovation, and the ability to integrate new elements under the influence of globalization. The findings have both theoretical and practical significance for sociolinguistics, media linguistics, cultural studies, methodology of teaching Russian, development of educational programs, and refinement of language policy
