ORIGIN OF THE NAME OF THE VILLAGE UU-ARYK (VARUKH)

This article discusses the etymology of the name of the village "Uu-Aryk", located on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic. At present, after a series of political events, these issues are becoming relevant and affect the interests of the two peoples. The controversy unfolded around the Varukh enclave, which is historically the territory of Kyrgyzstan. In the Tajik Republic, the Varukh enclave is considered their land, Tajik scientists interpret the term in their own interests, which causes a contradiction between the two states. The article substantiates the word "Uu-Aryk" as belonging to the Turkic languages, namely the Kyrgyz language. As a result of the study, it turned out that the name of the place “Uu-Aryk”, its history and meaning, the name belongs to the Kyrgyz language, namely the southwestern dialect of the Kyrgyz language
