This article discusses the history of Yusuf Balasagyn’s work “Kutadgu Bilig” (Blessed Knowledge), as well as several titles of the work. The work tells of Yusuf Balasagyn’s valuable ideas about the human qualities, duties and responsibilities of the rulers of the state, starting with the individual. The eternal power of images, ideas expressed by the poet, laws and their philosophy is analysed. The poet mentions several kinds of human relationships in his work. The concept of relationship is explored as a measure of a person’s attitude towards others, of humanity, of respect for talented people. The significance of his great ideas about language and attitudes towards poets has been defined and confirmed by scientific theoretical concepts
