This year, Aitmatova’s stories were analyzed, as well as the imagery in this genre, especially the image of a woman. The fact that the great writer began his creative journey with this genre of stories, fulfilled ten or fulfilled in his first stories the instructions and tasks required by the Soviet era, how the real era took place in the artistic world, and an attempt was made to reveal what they were requirements to create an image at that time. We tried to reveal the historical-social, political-moral origin of the character, the method of image creation by analyzing the images of Asia, Zeynep, and Saadat. Despite the fact that the author’s stories were a new beginning of creativity, the fact that he managed to get rid of the narrative method and create a character, an image, a step from naturalism to realism, was studied by analyzing the image of women. When analyzing his stories, not only his successes, but also his shortcomings were pointed out, and the research was carried out in a critical mood
