The article explores the artistic interpretation of the problems of man and society by the talented writer Kubatbek Dzhusubaliev from a new perspective in the novel Cold Walls. Starting with Cold Walls, the writer creatively mastered Western literature, skillfully used the method of existentialism, paving the way for modernist and postmodernist worldviews in Russian literature. Due to the rigid ideology of the Communist Party in the Soviet era, the fate of people was destroyed, the tragedy of the life of lost generations, moral lessons and national values, surrounded by cold walls, were vividly described through real life events and images. In fact, the writer managed to deeply reveal the soul of the character. As a result, the author describes the separation of the individual from society and history, the narrowing of individuality and the existence of life without isolation, loneliness, anxiety, fear of the future, feelings of anxiety, complexity of thinking through the methods of deep psychologism, introspection, the “flood of consciousness” style in artistic aesthetics, accompanied by generalizing reflections that he brought to Kyrgyz literature
