This article is devoted to a new method of teaching dramatic works. Scientific and theoretical questions were also been provided. Teaching technologies and their essence are given. The article deals with the problems of teaching the drama “Duel” by M. Baizhiev, a plan for daily classes was drawn up, and the main points that must be taken into account when teaching dramatic works, since the essence of this drama is compound, are shown.Aspects that make it difficult for students to understand,its content,character traits,problems of the work,conflicts in the emotional world of characters are mentioned.Therefore,an instruction was given to teach works of the dramatic genre in accordance with modern requirements.To prevent such phenomena, it is required the ability and skill of the teacher to be able to interest students in the subject of the lesson
