The article proposes theoretical and practical recommendations and the need to strengthen the concept of national values   in teaching students in universities. This article gives some ways to use the works of the following authors Sovetbek Baigaziev “Decree and strategy for the preservation of nations by President S. Zhaparov” (“Achyk sayasat”, 2021, March 26), “The ideology of preserving the people wearing a white kalpak” (“Maidan”, 2022 , February 2), S. Rysbaev “Kyrgyz folk values   and instructive concepts” (B., “Uluu Toolor”, 2020. -216 b.). It was great that the students had limited information about the concept of national values   and therefore didactic foundations for enriching and supplementing this information were identified. Information is given on the use of interactive methods and effective means, active forms in the development of the concepts of national values. The article voiced the opinion that the priority is not theoretical information, but practical issues and the meaning of their application
