The article in T. Sydykbekov’s novel “Blue Asaba”, which for the first time in the history of Kyrgyz literature vividly depicts the difficult fate of the Yenisei Kyrgyz, full of contradictory drama and tragedy of that time. Objective conclusions in the fundamental works of historians-scientists give rise to a fresh look at the facts related to the history of the Yenisei Kyrgyz. T. Sydykbekov, as an artist who knows how to keep the side roots of the era and always vigilantly related to it, immediately felt these changes, studied and analyzed many historical documents and materials that could form the basis of the novel, and blew up the soil, touching on the closed topic of the Soviet era. In the novel “Blue Asaba” the writer used his talent to depict the social life, political and cultural situation, worldview, tribal values, traditions, unity and disunity of the people, the victorious triumph and sad collapse of the Yenisei Kyrgyz, the history and national psychology of his people.
