The main purpose of the article is to reveal some trends in the development of modern children’s literature and to deduce relevant theoretical conclusions. Practical significance lies in the perception of the characteristics of children’s genres and through it to understand the worldview of the younger generation, the educational significance of literature. The topics of children’s literature are diverse, the details of the problems raised and disclosed are also different, the goals and objectives of the children’s literature are directly related to the past and present life of young people, historical and cultural events associated with them, and the phenomena of everyday life that excite children, aimed at ensuring that through artistic narratives deeply reveal thoughts and feelings, enriching the soul of today’s and tomorrow’s reader and immersing him in noble ideas. And the authors of genre-thematic multifaceted and artistic derivatives show the relevance of the article, observing and exploring the current creative evolution of children’s writers, at least in general, and identifying the characteristic and outstanding moments of their skill. Consideration of their creative path in close connection with the literary process of their time, in the context of literary development, systematic study of their place in the general field of literature, successes and failures in the aggregate means the novelty of the study, which is still on the agenda. It is important to understand the general creative evolution of children’s literature and to clarify its place in our national literature through a general description and analysis of modern trends in works for children in Kyrgyz literature, ascertaining their ideological, artistic and aesthetic value
