REFLECTION OF WEDDING CUSTOMS IN THE EPIC "MANAS"

The article talks about wedding customs in the epic “Manas”, which preserved ancient Kyrgyz wedding customs and expressed in artistic form. Ethnographers-scientists who studied the epic “Manas” were interested in the customs and traditions of the Kyrgyz people and collected materials from the people’s oral artistic creativity. Among these materials, the most important are some episodes of the epic “Manas”. The mentioned article talks about the marriage of Manas to Sanirabiga (Kanykey), the daughter of Atemir’s Tajik blood, and the process of marriage of his 40 Choros with 40 girls who support Kanykey’s life
