This article examines the issue of words of Turkic origin in the English language. Language cannot develop using only internal linguistic means. A significant enrichment of its vocabulary is achieved by borrowing individual elements, words, phraseological units and syntactic phrases from another language. Among the key factors influencing this process, we note the maintenance of military, trade and cultural contacts between two or more nations. Turkism is a word in any language, borrowed from Turkic languages. The relevance of a comparative analysis of Turkisms in English languages   is determined by the need to study the interaction of differently structured languages   to illuminate their history and development. If we turn to historical facts, Turkisms penetrated into the English language through different languages.
