FOLK PEDAGOGY IN THE PROCESS OF UPBRINGING OF THE YOUNGER GENERATION

This article examines the transmission of knowledge, traditions, and experiences in folk pedagogy, passed down orally through generations, highlighting its role in shaping the younger generation's values, norms, and skills for societal integration. It discusses the features and importance of folk pedagogy in general education, its contribution to personality development, moral qualities, and cultural heritage preservation, including perspectives from folk pedagogy proponents. This article also addresses the relevance of folk pedagogy in contemporary times, where traditional values are endangered, and emphasizes the application of its principles in education to equip children with essential knowledge, skills, and abilities
