FEATURES OF THE SPEECH ACT “GRATITUDE” FUNCTIONING IN RUSSIAN AND TURKISH LINGUOCULTURES
N.V. YankynThe present article is concerned with the comparative analysis of the verbal act “Gratitude” functioning in Russian and Turkish languages. It's hard to imagine successful communication between people without the etiquette speech act of gratitude. Gratitude is a special reaction of a speaker to the activities of the interlocutor and is a universal speech act that is familiar to the representatives of all cultures. However, each speech act gets a specific expression in different linguocultures. In this regard, it seems extremely important to describe the ethno-cultural speci- ficity of the speech act of gratitude functioning in different languages
