COMPARATIVE ETHNOCULTURAL STUDY OF PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS WITH AN ZOONYM COMPONENT IN RUSSIAN AND CHINESE

The article is devoted to a comparative study of Russian and Chinese phraseological units with an animal component. The relevance of the study is due to the importance of the units under consideration for understanding the mentality of representatives of different linguistic cultures. These phraseological units clearly demonstrate both commonality and difference in values, behavior patterns in national cultures. Both in Russian and in Chinese phraseological units, each animal carries a corresponding emotional color. However, Russia and China differ geographically and culturally, have pronounced ethnic differences, so it is natural that some ani- mals play different roles in phraseological units, each of which has a corresponding emotional coloring
