TO THE QUESTION OF COMPILING A LATIN-KYRGYZ EDUCATIONAL DICTIONARY FOR STUDENTS OF MEDICAL SPECIALTIES

The article is about the place of the Latin language in medicine and the features of compiling a vocabulary of “Latin language” discipline for students of medical specialties.The criteria and principles, the procedure and sources for selecting the lexical material of the educational dictionary are established, the volume of lexical units in the discipline is considered, the systematic formation of the vocabulary semantics skill, which is important for an adequate understanding of professionally oriented, scientific and medical terms,is studied. Statistical, linguistic and methodological principles were considered as the main principles of compiling a terminological dictionary,the criteria of thematic, frequency, integration and functionality are dedicated as important criteria
