USING OF THE CONTEXTUAL METHOD TO DEVELOP READING SKILLSAT THE ENGLISH LESSON

The article discusses the importance of using the contextual teaching method in developing reading skills in an English lesson. When learning a language, there are four basic language skills you need to learn: listening, reading, speaking and writing. Reading, as one of the four basic language skills, has its own characteristics. Reading provides some activities that help us understand written expressions. By reading, a student can gain a lot of knowledge, information or even solutions to problems. To develop students’ reading skills, we believe that the contextual teaching method is one of the most effective methods. In this article, we consider how you can apply the contextual method in one English lesson
