The article is devoted to one of the main problems of translation studies - the translation of cultural realities. The article deals with the problems of translating the onomatopoeic realities of the Kyrgyz language into Turkish and Russian. The research is carried out on the material of the work of Ch. Aitmatov “Mother’s Earth”. The work provides a translation, as well as an analysis of the translation of the onomatopoeic realities of the authors of the Turkish and Russian versions of the translation. The aim of the study is to determine the methods for translating Kyrgyz onomatopoeic realities into Russian and Turkish, to compare translation methods and to identify similarities and differences in translation methods. The scientific novelty of this study lies in determining the ways of translating Kyrgyz onomatopoeic realities with and without an intermediary language into a related language
