EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES AND FEATURES OF THE ORGANISATION INDEPENDENT WORK OF STUDENTS IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE CLASSES
S. Kasmalieva, A.S. KasmalievaThis article explores the current issues in applying educational technology to foreign language teaching in higher education. The authors examined the specifics of the competency- based approach and various forms of organizing the educational process aimed at developing students' independence. This research focuses on interactive, project-based, and information- communication technologies. The findings show the effectiveness of modern methods, such as business games, group projects, and multimedia presentations, in developing language competencies. Emphasis is placed on students' independent material searches, creativity, and teacher's role in organizing independent work, considering students' professional training.
These results affirm the need to develop self-education and critical thinking skills in foreign language learning
