SONG POETIC DISCOURSE IN ENGLISH AND KYRGYZ LANGUAGES

Amangeldy Bekbalaev, D.T. Baigaziev

This article presents a comprehensive study of song poetic discourse based on the English and Kyrgyz languages. The structural, linguistic, and cultural features of song texts are examined through discourse analysis and a semiotic approach. This study identifies universal and national- specific characteristics of song texts in both linguacultures, focusing on versification systems, rhythmic organization, lexical and syntactic expressions, and figurative systems. English texts typically reflect individualism and pragmatism, whereas Kyrgyz texts emphasize collectivism and traditionalism. The findings highlight that song poetic discourse is a complex semiotic system in which musical and verbal elements interact, and that the sociocultural context is crucial for interpretation
