PHRASEOLOGICAL EXPRESSIONS WITH NEGATIVE MEANING TOWARDS WOMEN IN THE KYRGYZ LANGUAGE

This study analyzes phraseological expressions in Kyrgyz that convey negative attitudes toward women.  The research identified three main phraseosemantic groups and proved their lexico- semantic nature: expressions characterizing laziness and slovenliness, phrases condemning indecent behavior, and idioms related to infertile women. In Kyrgyz mentality, special importance is given to women's roles in the family and society, with even minor flaws evoking negative emotions. The study shows that expressions condemning indecent behavior are the most figurative. The results show that predominance phraseological units related to infertility predominate, mostly formed using “kuu” This study confirms the connection between linguistic units and cultural values
