DIDACTIC GUIDELINES FOR ORGANIZING INDEPENDENT WORK OF HUMANITIES STUDENTS IN MATHEMATICS CLASSES

This article discusses didactic guidelines for the effective organization of independent work among humanities students during mathematics classes. It highlights the important role of mathematics in the development of logical and analytical thinking and emphasizes that, for humanities students—who generally show less interest in the exact sciences—the organization of independent study requires a specific didactic approach. The main goal of the article is to develop methodological recommendations aimed at increasing students’ interest and motivation in mathematics, improving the level of knowledge acquisition, and fostering the development of professional competencies. The article also underlines that creating didactic guidelines that take into account the psychological characteristics of humanities students is an essential part of the modern educational process. The proposed methodological approaches contribute to the successful assimilation of mathematical knowledge by humanities students and to the development of their cognitive independence
